For the last week or so, I have noticed an ever increasing number of Valentines Day displays on the sidewalks in front of the stores. Today, it’s a busy Valentine’s Day in Mexico for sure!

It's a Busy Valentine's Day in Mexico!

I went into Guayabitos and then back to La Penita for my walk-a-bout town this morning. In La Penita I wandered over to the main street to find some breakfast. I passed a couple of flower shops and boy, were they ever hoppin! Big beautiful bouquet of flowers bursting out the doorways and so many men (hahaha) buying them up!

Candy

Walking along main street, the little shops have all put out display table’s along the sidewalks. These tables are filled with so many fun and creative Valentine’s gifts! Many of course are candy. I like to consider myself a candy connoisseur so naturally I had to slowly peruse all of the interesting goodies.

Chocolates

Can a day really be valentines day without some sort of chocolate? I think not. But we can certainly find creative ways to give the chocolates in Mexico! Have a look at these!

Gift Sets

By far, the best things I saw were these gift sets. OMG, so fun! Who would not want to be given one of these treasure boxes!

I hope everyone has a lovely day today. Love can come in many different forms. It doesn’t have to be from a significant other. I hope you feel good and loved and important today, no matter what your lifestyle choices are.
